Data are presented from some field collections conducted in late summer, between mid-August and early September 2025, on the southern slope of Mount Verena, in the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni in the province of Vicenza (Veneto region, Italy). The samplings, conducted between 1,460 and 2,000 m above sea level, identified 24 species of Apoidea Anthophila, including 16 species of the genus Bombus. The population of Mount Verena appears well-characterized, with some species particularly present and abundant at the summit and others predominantly at lower altitudes. Of particular interest is the discovery of a significant population of Bombus (Megabombus) gerstaeckeri Morawitz, 1882, one of the species of the Bombus Latreille, 1802 most localized in Europe and particularly linked to the flowering of various species of the genus Aconitum L.. From a taxonomic point of view, the Authors accept the recent separation at the specific level between B. (Alpigenobombus) wurflenii Radoszkowski, 1914 and B. (Alpigenobombus) mastrucatus Gerstaecker, 1869 and, adopting the current subspecific subdivision, assign the Monte Verena population to B. (Alpigenobombus) mastrucatus mastrucatus Gerstaecker, 1869
