The expansion of the brown marmorated stink bug Halyomorpha halys, an invasive species that causes severe damage to many crops, has brought an intensification in the survey activities focused on the stink bug distribution and biological control. During such surveys, Acrosternum heegeri (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae), a Holomediterranean species, was recorded for the first time in Trentino.
L’espansione della cimice asiatica Halyomorpha halys, specie invasiva che provoca ingenti danni a numerose colture agrarie, ha portato ad intensificare le attività di monitoraggio sui Pentatomidae con lo scopo di studiarne la distribuzione ed il controllo biologico. Nel corso di tali attività, Acrosternum heegeri (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae), specie olomediterranea, è stata segnalata per la prima volta in Trentino.
