A two-year field survey (2012-2013) of parasitoids of the spotted wing Drosophila (SWD), Drosophila suzukii (Matsumura), was carried out at four locations of Trento province (Italy). The aim was to determine the status of local biological control agents utilizing SWD as a host. Three hymenopteran species were found attacking the drosophilids: one larval parasitoid and two pupal parasitoids. After setting up rearing of these species, parasitization experiments were performed in order to assess the effectiveness of each parasitoid against D. suzukii, in laboratory conditions. The results confirmed the ability of two species
