The ZOO-Project is a WPS (Web Processing Service) server with powered calculus abilities on geospatial data directly in the web. ZOO is composed by three main parts: the Kernel, the core of software, the Service and the API. The Services can be connected to different libraries, both spatial like Gdal/OGR both non spatial like OpenOffice. With wps-grass-bridge, a python library to simple GIS GRASS7 WPS integration, it is also possible to connect directly GRASS GIS to ZOO and use all its modules from the web. In this talk I will introduce to WPS service standard, how to install and configure ZOO and wps-grass-bridge, and finally I will show some processes using different clients (web browser or WPS client QGIS plugin).

Abstract
The ZOO-Project is a WPS (Web Processing Service) server with powered calculus abilities on geospatial data directly in the web. ZOO is composed by three main parts: the Kernel, the core of software, the Service and the API. The Services can be connected to different libraries, both spatial like Gdal/OGR both non spatial like OpenOffice. With wps-grass-bridge, a python library to simple GIS GRASS7 WPS integration, it is also possible to connect directly GRASS GIS to ZOO and use all its modules from the web. In this talk I will introduce to WPS service standard, how to install and configure ZOO and wps-grass-bridge, and finally I will show some processes using different clients (web browser or WPS client QGIS plugin).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
