In order to evaluate the relationship between "genotype" and "terroir" in the cv. Cabemet-Sauvignon some vineyards with 5 common clonal selections, 4 of which selected in France (337, 338, 341 and 15) and the other one in Italy (R5), located in Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Alto Adige regions (north-eastern Italy) were investigated. In all vineyards involved in this research, within the period between the beginning of ripening and harvest, several of the most significant both vegeto-productive parameters (number of sprouting buds, real fertility, yield per plant, clusters per plant, cluster weight, pruned wood weight and Ravaz index) and enological parameters (sugars, titratable acidity and pH) were investigated. Moreover Wricke index was used in order to taste the stability level of both viticultural and enological parameters to different environments under observation. These investigations show, within variety Cabernet-Sauvignon variability, some reactive genotypes to the environmental conditions like clone 15; on the contrary other clones (337 and 338) show more control of the enological parameters of the must than yield parameters
